5th Cell began as a mobile studio and then moved to the DS, making games like Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life. They're on the cusp of entering a new market: consoles.

“We're going to console next year," 5th Cell creative director Jeremiah Slaczka told Destructoid. "We'll be announcing that next year, and it's another original title. We'll still do DS, maybe, but we want to focus our efforts on original consoles."

Scribblenauts, a puzzle game in which players summon items by writing their name in order to help them traverse levels, was released in North America last week. Its European release is schedule for next month.
