All the talk surrounding Section 8 usually involves “When is the PS3 version due?” and the answer is as follows: It is indefinitely delayed because TimeGate ran into some financial issues with acquiring PS3 technology. Nevertheless, the PC and Xbox 360 version of the game is well on its way, and SouthPeak recently let loose the news regarding a new playable demo will be available for the 360 version.

According to Electronic Theatre, shortly after the European beta testing for Section 8 will begin, SouthPeak has plans to release a new demo for Xbox 360 users.

As of now, the game is receiving little but notable fanfare, mainly for its Halo 3-graphics and unique approach to open-world, first-person combat. And while some PS3 owners could care less, some are hoping that the game being a timed-release, as reported earlier here a Blend Games. If the hype continues to build for the game then it won’t be surprising to see this game on the PlayStation 3 sometime next year.
