Though Croteam has been busy making HD remakes of the first two Serious Sam, they're still focused on creating Sam Stone's next adventure. They plan to wrap up development of Serious Sam 3 in the next twelve months.

"Serious Sam 3 is happening for sure," Croteam boss Roman Ribaric told Destructoid. "It is currently planned to be finished in 2010."

Before that happens, they'll be releasing Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter. Second, one of the aforementioned HD remakes, is due in early 2010.
