Serious Sam HD Coming To Xbox Live Arcade

First-person shooter Serious Sam: The First Encounter is coming to Xbox 360. Original developers Croteam partnered up with Devolver Digital to create an high definition remake of the 2001 game for Xbox Live Arcade.

"We are really excited to update our hero and recreate Sam in stunning high definition for Xbox LIVE Arcade players,” said Roman Ribaric, CEO of Croteam. “The fans have lobbied us hard to do this, so we are stoked about bringing Sam back as big, bold and bad as he ever was.”

In addition to spruced up graphics, Serious Sam: The First Encounter HD will also sport four-player online co-op. The price and release date weren't revealed.
