Have you ever wanted to play one of the latest online shooter games, for free? Well, Futuremark Game Studios needs some willing gamers to test out their zero-gravity, fist-person shooter, Shattered Horizon, for a private beta test.

“Playing a multiplayer FPS in zero gravity offers gameplay possibilities that simply cannot be found in conventional shooters,” said Antti Summala, Lead Game Designer at Futuremark Game Studios. “I invite every gamer looking for an FPS that offers something new and different to sign up for our beta test.”

Considering that blood, gore, violence and killing will be involved, Futuremark thought it smart to set the age-limit to 18…so, sorry 12-year old Halo fans, but you’re not welcome to join in on this beta test. Go back to Halo!

Now, for all willing participants over the age of 18, there are a few things required to participate in the beta, such as the minimum computer requirements.

Dual core processor, Steam account,
Broadband Internet connection,
No previous beta testing experience is necessary
