Ubisoft announced today that they are making another snowboarding game bearing the name of Olympic gold medalist Shaun White. Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage will be released exclusively for the Wii during the 2009 holiday season.

Like the 2008 multiplatform game Shaun White Snowboarding, World Stage will support the Balance Board peripheral. Players will travel the world, hitting up snowboarding competitions in France, Canada, Japan, and even New York's Times Square. The official website is now live and you'll get an exclusive wallpaper for your computer if you register for the mailing list.

According to the press release, the original Shaun White game has sold 3 million copies since its release on the PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, Wii, PSP, DS, and PC last winter. It must've sold pretty well on the Wii if they're releasing World Stage only on that system.
