Shoot Many Robots Available Now For Free On Android
Shoot Many Robots officially launched for Android devices today, allowing players to, oddly enough, shoot many robots on the go in this wild and crazy “endless gunner” mobile game.
Originally released as a console game last year, the Android version of Shoot Many Robots was designed by Demiurge Studios, in conjunction with Owlchemy Labs, as the first game in the studio’s new mobile publishing initiative. There’s a planned iOS release coming down the pipeline, too, so no use in getting jealous for those of you gaming on iDevices.
“Last year, Demiurge Studios set out to provide fellow robot-hater with a whole new way to demolish robots—what resulted is this super-addictive endless runner (and gunner) that we are excited to turn over to the mobile masses today,” said Demiurge CEO Albert Reed. “It’s a simple pick-up-and-play kind of game with unique features never before seen in an endless runner. Plus, it will make the world a better place.”
Players will take on the role of Walter Tugnut, a wacko who has been stock-pilling weaponry in anticipation of the robot apocalypse. When that fateful day finally arrives, Walter is uniquely prepared to take on the mechanical oppressors head-on, blasting through their ranks with all sorts of guns, flamethrowers, rocket launchers and the like. Walter will pick up nuts along the way, giving him the ability to craft even crazier weaponry.
“Joining forces with Demiurge Studios has proven to be a scientific breakthrough,” said Owlchemy’s Alex Schwartz. “Through the combined efforts of the Owlchemy scientists and the Demiurge team, we have created an awesome game that takes endless runners to a new level with our lane-switching mechanic, along with robust 3D environments, HD graphics, simple controls and tons of action.”
Shoot Many Robots is available now, free of charge, through Google Play.
