Ironclad Games will not be releasing three micro-expansions for Sins of a Solar Empire after all. Their new plan is two micro-expansions and then a big one.

That's the impression BigDownload got from their chat with Brad Wardell, CEO of Sins publisher Stardock Games. Wardell said that they have too much they want to add to the game and that it wouldn't all fit into a third micro-expansion. That seems to imply full-fledged expansion pack is on the way. Always the possibility they could just decide to save their big plans for a sequel, too.

The first micro-expansion, Entrenchment, was released earlier this year and costs $10. The second, Diplomacy, is scheduled for 2010 release.
