Six Days In Fallujah Developer Wants To Complete Game

Yesterday, military shooter Six Days in Fallujah found itself without a publisher. Developer Atomic Games isn't about to throw in the towel on the game, though.

"We were informed on Thursday night that Konami had decided to pull out of Six Days in Fallujah," said Atomic Games president Peter Tamte in an official statement. "This caught us by surprise. Development of the game had been progressing very well and on schedule. We would very much like the opportunity to complete the game."

Konami claimed they dropped the game due to public outcry over the game's subject, a real battle in the Iraq War. Fallujah was supposed to be released in 2010 for the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360. The time frame and platforms could be changed depending on how long it takes Atomic to find a publisher and how deep their pockets are.
