Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Trailer Gives A Glimpse Of The Story

Who is Sly Cooper? That’s the question, among others, being asked by the latest trailer from Sanzaru Games’ upcoming Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. With the latest game in the thievish raccoon’s adventure only a couple of months away, now is the time to take a brief glimpse behind the curtain and get an idea of what the story has to offer.

After starring in a trilogy of successful PlayStation 3 games and making an appearance in Sony’s recent four-player brawler, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, you might feel like you already have a pretty good idea of who this Sly Cooper character is. If nothing else, you probably feel like you at least know every single trick he has hidden up those blue sleeves.

But you’d be wrong, my friend. In Thieves in Time, sly will travel throughout history in order to pull off the biggest heist of his career. Along the way, he’ll earn new allies, make new enemies and learn all kinds of new tricks for besting his foes or sneaking past undetected.

In the “Who is Sly” trailer, we get to hear a few details about the upcoming game from a handful of shadowy characters, as well as see some of that sweet new gameplay in action.



As producer Caley Roberts reminds us on the PlayStation Blog, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time has a couple of special features to be mindful of. For starters, it’s a cross buy game, which means you get a free Vita version of the game if you pick up a new copy of the PS3 version. Also, there’s that whole augmented reality thing with the PlayStation Vita, allowing you to earn extra in-game awards by utilizing the portable console as an actual Sneakoscope.
