I can’t believe this video trailer is just now getting posted. But you know what, it’s not our fault. In fact, it’s far from it. We posted up the screenshots of SD vs Raw 2K8 as soon as they were made available and we looked for the trailer. But again, no trailer could be found. After a little searching and no word from THQ, the SD vs Raw 2K8 trailer can now be viewed.
It would seem like companies should keep people informed about the important stuff. But there’s no sense in squabbling over the little things. At least the trailer is here, right? Right. So does it live up to the wait? No. It fails miserably. I’m being serious. The trailer is highly uninteresting given the game’s amazing features. Instead of showing the new 24/7 mode or giving a good show-through of the new submission mechanics, we just see a compilation of the different fighting styles and some of the wrestlers pulling off moves on opponents.
Still, for what it’s worth the trailer isn’t all bad. The game still looks great and we get to see a few more wrestlers in the game, including the too-buff-for-his-own-good, Sandman. Now look here people, in real life the Sandman has a gut. There’s no question about that. So how on earth did Yukes get the idea to slim him down and buff him up? But you know what, the Sandman could have asked Yukes to roid him up. So who am I say that he has too much muscle? Anyway, enjoy the trailer below.
