Have you ever wanted to play a snowboarding game that was exactly like Road Rash, complete with a two-player mode? Well, Hudson has heard those silent cries and have aptly released Snowboard Riot, a combat-racing snowboarding game.

"Snowboard Riot packs a huge punch of adrenaline-filled content for players,” said Sabine Duvall, Vice President of Product Development at Hudson Entertainment. "In this tiny WiiWare download, you have online and offline multiplayer, Wii Balance Board support, character customization, and more. We’re giving gamers a very robust experience in Snowboard Riot.”

Actually, and honestly, the game doesn’t look half-bad to be a WiiWare title. The game almost seems to fuse a bit of the stylized look of Airboarders and SSX Tricky.

The multiplayer for the game sports some four-player online competition, and sports apparel from Oakley is also present in the game. Not bad for a subordinate digital-distribution platform title.
