I said it two months ago, and by God it finally happened. You’ll now be able to spin dash the crap out the competition with Sonic the Hedgehog in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Nintendo announced today that Sonic will be joining the Smash Bros. Brawl fray via their official website. There’s a pretty awesome video of it as well, and we’ve graciously brought it to your feet just below this text.

It appears that the majority of Sonic’s moves involve spin dashing and a flying drop kick similar to Captain Falcon’s. We’ll likely be seeing more of Sonic’s moves emerge over the course of the week, so keep your eyes open – cause with Sonic around, you’re likely to get the crap beaten out of you if you don’t. Ain’t that right, Ro-butt-nik? Honestly, there’s nothing more to say. It’s Sonic, and he’s in Brawl. Now we’ll really see who the better gaming mascot is.
