Sony CEO Brushes Off Calls For PS3 Price Cut
Last month, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick stated that his company would reconsider making PS3 games if the console's price was not reduced. What say you, Sony CEO Howard Stringer?
"[Kotick] likes to make a lot of noise," said Stringer at the Allen & Co conference in Sun Valley, Idaho (via Yahoo News). "He's putting pressure on me and I'm putting pressure on him. That's the nature of business."
When asked why they weren't cutting prices, Stringer said, "I (would) lose money on every PlayStation I make -- how's that for logic."
Will the above statement make people stop pestering him about the price cut? Probably not.
