Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny Is Now Available For PSP

published: 2009-09-01 13:11:04
Namco Bandai announced today that Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny is now available for the PSP. Even though we were clearly told that Soul Calibur 4 was supposed to be the last game in the series, it has managed to barrel on and this time it features Kratos from God of War.

According to Todd Thorson, director of marketing and public relations, Namco Bandai Games America…
“The Soulcalibur franchise has a rich history of raising the bar to deliver an unrivalled gameplay experience on every platform it’s available and SOULCALIBUR: Broken Destiny is no different,” .. “The game’s nail-biting action, new playable characters and modes further enhance an already stellar fighting formula.”

The game features a few new firsts, including the new Training Mode with 80 new exercises, the exclusive Trials Mode, which is only available on the PSP and ad hoc networking for multiplayer battles.

Like the latest Soul Calibur games, Broken Destiny also sports the create-a-fighter mode with deep customization options, allowing players to finely tune either a bone crushing bruiser or a busty gladiator. Being that this is Soul Calibur it wouldn’t be surprising if the latter happened to be the more powerful.

Anyway, the game is rated ‘T’ for Teen and carries the suggested retail price of $39.99. For more information on Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny feel free to visit the Official Website. For more gaming news, updates, info and insight, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
