Among other titles, SouthPeak Interactive will be showcasing Roogoo for the Nintendo Wii and DS for the first time in public. An X-Blades tournament is also scheduled to take place, as well new info being unveiled for everyone’s favorite breakout shooter, Section 8.

"We’re very excited to be attending the New York Comic Con again this year,” said Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak Games. "It gives us a chance to let fans see and experience some of our hottest 2009 titles well before they are scheduled to hit store shelves.”

The games SouthPeak is expected to show off include the following:

X-Blades (due out February for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC)

Roogoo Attack! (due out this Spring for Nintendo DS)

Roogoo Twisted Towers! (due out this Spring for Wii)

Section 8 (due out Fall of 2009 for PC and Xbox 360)
