Ratsquare’s new combat racing game for Apple’s on-the-go mobile device just received a new trailer as it nears launch. Word has also been sent out that this futuristic racer has been submitted for AppStore approval and will be arriving on the iPhone and iPod Touch, soon.

Speed Forge is a dynamic, full of action combat racing game. The only rule in the race is to be first. Destroy your opponents with guns, rockets, and mines - do what ever it takes to be first! Take a break from racing and practice your combat skills on one of the arena maps. Enjoy beautiful graphics utilizing the newest hardware.

The game is like a mix of the PlayStation’s classic racing title, WipeOut, fused in with one of the few decent 3DO titles, MegaRace. The actual game looks super fine and runs extremely smooth. Heck, Speed Forge almost looks better than most Wii games.

The game will feature 4 deathmatch arenas, 12 racing tracks, 6 different vehicles and physics-based racing.
