Split/Second, Spectrobes: Origins And Mystery Game At GDC Okay, so you finally read about Black Rock Studios’ intense, action-racing simulator, Split/Second? Great. Well more good news is heading your way if you’re all geeked about Split/Second, or you happen to have an interest in Spectrobes: Origins, because they will be on display at GDC 2009...but that's not all folks.

In addition to the obvious, though, Disney Interactive has confirmed that a third game will be on display at GDC. Blend Games’ Editor Pete Haas pieced together a little info on what that third title might be, considering that a subsidiary of Disney Interactive, Junction Point Studios, is currently working on an unannounced project. Based on a job recruitment ad the developers were looking for artists for "classic Hollywood cartoons" featuring "cartoon mice, cats and wabbits”.

This coincides with the third title Disney Interactive is planning on showing off at GDC, which is based on a film. While many gamers might have their apprehension seatbelts fastened safely around them, just remember that Junction Point is composed of the same minds that brought you titles like Dues EX, System Shock and Thief.

It’s pure speculation about Junction Point Studios’ project being the one shown off at GDC this year, but we do know that Disney Interactive’s third title is a "film-based game", or so we were told. So, take that to the bank and cash it.
