Most gamers probably think of Split/Second as Blur's arch rival. Simply put, it is. However, by comparison I must say that Split/Second looks to be the more interesting of the two and it’s all because of what's unveiled in this new trailer.

The “power play” trailer breaks down how some of the destructible environmental elements can help players break into the lead or simply hinder opponents from gaining too much of an advantage during a race.

Power plays aren’t just for destroying the competition on the track, though, they can also be used to open up new avenues during a race to cut corners (literally) or skid through a shortcut to pass up a few opponents.
