Back in 1986, Stan Bush recorded a ballad called "The Touch" for Transformers: The Movie. In 2009, it seems this song will be coming to Guitar Hero as a free download.

"Also, I've been holding off announcing this, but "The Touch" is going to be in Guitar Hero!" said Bush in an email to Transformers fan site Seibertron. "Activision will be releasing it as a free download. I'll contact Activision this week to find out the release date and let you know."

Here's a fan-created music video for "The Touch" if you're not familiar with the song. I can't think of a song that reminds me less of alien robots fighting over energy cubes but the song no doubt occupies a special place in many of your hearts.
