While Xbox 360 gamers had a few months to gloat over exclusive access to the top-down XBLA title, Star Trek D-A-C, it was announced today that the Star Trek arcade shooter will be arriving on PC and PS3 this upcoming November. This means that PlayStation 3 owners will be able to gloat a little bit too, along with PC gamers.

It usually takes a little while for the PS3 to receive ports from the Xbox 360, but they eventually arrive at some point. Bad Robot Interactive and Paramount Digital Entertainment let the news fly loose today that the PC and PS3 versions of D-A-C will receive exclusive new content and will be compatible with Nvidia 3D stereoscopic Vision 3D experience.

The game features 12-player online battles in a top-down arcade fashion. Three modes fill out the gameplay, including single-player, online and co-op online with the following game types available for each mode: Team Assault, DeathMatch, Conquest and Survival. It may not be much but if it’s fun then it’s fun…and quantity of playtime will be measured in the form of the quality of gameplay.

Anyway, PS3 and PC owners will also receive a few new ships to play and a few new weapons to command. Star Trek D-A-C will be available for the PS3 via PlayStation Store and it will be available for PC gamers via Valve’s Steam come November.
