Today BioWare formally announced the fifth class for Star Wars: The Old Republic. You probably already knew this one would be in the game, but hey, at least you get new screenshots.

Yep, Jedi Knight. It's not as cool as being a moisture farmer but it'll do. Considering SW:TOR is a continuation of the Knights of the Old Republic single-player RPG's, it was a foregone conclusion that players would be able to play as Jedi. Plus, they're the wet dream of the Star Wars universe.

Jedi have existed in pop culture longer than I've been alive so I won't bother trying to tell you anything new about them. They wear robes, wield lightsabers, and kick ass in the name of the Galactic Republic. If you're looking to be a little less virtuous, you can opt for the Sith Warrior player class, unveiled in August.
