From this Friday to Sunday, it's "Fuck Jack Thompson Weekend" at digital games platform Steam. Okay, maybe that's not the official name for it but that's what it amounts to: all Rockstar games available through the service are now 30% cheaper.
The PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV is only about two months' old but you can pick it up for $34.99 through this deal. Max Payne, Max Payne 2, Grand Theft Auto III, Midnight Club 2, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Manhunt are all a mere $6.99. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is priced at $13.99 while Bully: Scholarship Edition, Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2 are all $20.99. The first two GTA games are more expensive than the next three? Weird. Want to buy all the games in one big old (virtual) box? Purchasing the Rockstar Collection, the bundle with eleven Rockstar games, would ordinarily cost $99.99 but now it's $69.99. It's all of the games listed above, except swap out Bully for sci-fi action game Wild Metal. |
