SteelSeries Sensei MLG Edition Mouse Announced

SteelSeries has announced a new version of their popular Sensei mouse, this time it's for Major League Gamers. The mouse provides gamers with an easier-than-using-toilet-paper installation process that doesn't even require drivers, LCD display menu and a DCPI to die for.

Sundance DiGiovanni, CEO and Co-founder of Major League Gaming commented in the press release, saying...

“MLG partnered with SteelSeries because of the impressive products they build for gamers,”...“We are excited to introduce the Sensei MLG Edition, which has been crafted with the best hardware available and technology that makes sense to gamers who are looking for the best products to help their competitive play.”

The new sensor on the Sensei MLG can increase the CPI to 8,200 and 16,400 DCPI. The mouse also sports a 32-bit ARM processor to make full use of the SteelSeries ExactTech for the most precise movement calculations available on the market.

What's more is that SteelSeries is not averse to the left-handed gamers of the world either. The Sensei MLG Edition sports ambidextrous use, three different areas of illumination and four levels of pulsating illumination effects. This all comes wrapped in a cold-as-a-steel-killer gunmetal motif.

SteelSeries CMO, Kim Rom boasted in the press release, saying...

“The professional gamers that compete in MLG tournaments and the competitive players who watch competition streams that are practicing towards getting to tournaments in person and ultimately play to win, are who we have built this co-branded mouse for,”.... “We believe the MLG community and its supporters bring together some of the most passionate competitive players out there and we’re excited to bring those players a mouse with the fastest, most customizable and best-in-quality features.”

Gamers who want a first-hand glimpse at the new mouse can do so at the MLG Spring Championship in Anaheim, California, which takes place between June 8th and June 10th. Gamers in attendance will also have the first available opportunities to pre-order the mouse, which will retail for a whopping $99.99.
