Controller accessories usually don’t release a dime a dozen, but when they do arrive it’s usually important that gamers take note because sometimes they actually happen to be useful…sometimes. Kontrol Freek announced that their new line of accessories for analog precision improvement has come in the form of a football shaped thumb pad. And what's more is that the new accessory has become available just in time for Madden NFL 11.

The analog add-on basically improves precision movement while cutting down on the finicky and sometimes jerky motions players employ incidentally when trying to execute small or very precise actions with the analog.

I’m sure hardcore fans of sports games will find the add-ons useful for getting an edge over the competition, especially during online bouts. You can look for the TD Freek to become available for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 starting August 10th.
