Sony is really going out on a limb to try new things in new genres...or new things in old genres. Anyway, inFamous is a pretty cool game that deals more with the morals of being a superhero than the actual end-means of superheroism. To get a better look at this open-world, action title, we have some new screenshots from TGS 08.

I know many of you are thinking about how uncool the main character looks. And it’s true, he does look uncool. But that’s okay, because he has a very nifty assortment of evolutionary electrical abilities that should make for some fun gameplay mechanics. What’s even better is that Sucker Punch Productions creatively tossed in a reactionary society, some destructible environments and a grappling hook (yes, a grappling hook, because we all know grappling hooks instantly make a game better) and you have a surefire, kick-butt game to look forward to.
