Electronic Arts set free a new series of screenshots for their action-packed co-op sequel to Army of Two. The six new screenshots are a gorgeous collection of gritty looking firefights and war-torn environments; if you like the smell of napalm in the morning you’ll love these screenshots.

Army of Two: The 40th Day features co-op heavy gameplay, including a lot of common-sense buddy-up moves that allow players (either with a friend or with the CPU) drag a teammate to safety, heal them on the fly or share ammo. There’s a heck of a lot of functionality in the game and the sequel looks to advance on everything that was present in the first game.

Graphically, as you can see, the game has undergone some major improvements (and for the better). In addition to this the developers have also included new additions to the gun customization feature, a popular function in the first game.
