Talk about a headline that will give your eyes a workout, yeesh. Anyway, THQ recently announced that SpongeBob SquarePants will be making a return to the Nintendo DS in Frantic Fry Cook, which features intense stylus action that is bound to make your fingers very muscular.
According to the press release, "In SpongeBob Squarepants Frantic Fry Cook, Mr. Krabs has signed up to compete in the cooking contest that will determine who will cater Jack Kahuna Laguna’s Big Beach Party."
The object of the game sees gamers helping SpongeBob and his friends running the Krusty Krab and training cousins of Plankton, as they make delightful dishes for Bikini Bottom customers. There's more than 100 different entrees that players will make using the stylus and the DS touch screen.
Some of the game's features include customizing the look of the Krusty Krab as players progress through the game, or utilizing cooking techniques that include “skipping,” “painting,” and “slingshooting”. H'm, I can already imagine what "slingshooting" will be like: catapulting food with a spatula, more than likely.
The game is due out this March for the Nintendo DS. You can learn more about SpongeBob SquarePants Frantic Fry Cook by visiting the Official THQ Website. For more news and information, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
