Southpeak Games sent out word that they have plans to release a new TNA game based on the popular Southern wrestling organization for the Nintendo DS and PSP. What’s more is that the game is due out later this winter, but obviously not in time for the holiday season.
According to the press release, Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing for SouthPeak, commented saying…
“Their unique take on professional wrestling has captivated a continually growing fan base of millions of people across the world,”… “We look forward to giving those fans the opportunity to go head to head with all their favorite TNA superstars on the go, on either the PSP system or Nintendo DS.”
Southpeak made a deal with TNA to snatch up the rights from Midway’s development team and publish the title across the aforementioned handhelds. The game will contain the six-sided ring, wireless gameplay and some of fans’ favorite superstars from WWE’s arch-rival.
