Tales of Monkey Island, Telltale Games' episodic revival of the Monkey Island adventure series, will launch on the PC on July 7th. To give you a taste of the journey ahead, Telltale has released a three-minute video from the first episode, Launch of the Screaming Narwhal.
Tales once again stars Guybrush Threepwood, the bumbling swashbuckler. Undead pirate LeChuck, his nemesis from all the previous games, is back and has kidnapped his wife. The video shows his attempt to rescue her.
There will be five monthly episodes of Tales. They'll be released through WiiWare as well but the timeframe for that hasn't been disclosed.
