The end is in sight for Tales of Monkey Island. Telltale Games announced the release date for the fifth and final episode of the adventure series today.

The Rise of the Pirate God picks up right after Guybrush's apparent demise. He'll probably find a way out of this jam by picking up a series of random objects and using them to solve puzzles, though. That's generally how adventure games play out.

Rise will be available for the PC on December 8th. For $34.95, you can purchase the entire five-episode set through Telltale's website. You can also buy individual episodes for $8.95 apiece.
