The fourth chapter in the Tales Of Monkey Island adventure series is now available for the PC. The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood can be purchased through Telltale Game's website as well as Steam.
The plot of Trial is summed up by Telltale thusly: "Guybrush returns to Flotsam Island, but forget about a hero's welcome. Handed over to De Singe by the backstabbing Morgan LeFlay, Guybrush is seized by an angry mob and put on trial! With a silk-tongued prosecutor in his face and a hangman's noose dangling over his neck, Guybrush must figure out how to defend himself against grave accusations."
There's one more episode in the series after this so I'm guessing he proves his innocence or gets a really favorable plea bargain. The third installment, Lair of the Leviathan, just made it to WiiWare this week so Wii owners still probably have a couple weeks to wait until they get Trial.
