Namco fans who can't get enough of PacMan and fighting fans who can’t get enough of Tekken can finally combine the two with the crazy fighter garb options in Tekken 6. The new campaign trailer features Yoshimitsu (the space ninja) dressed up in some PacMan kung-fu gear.

A lot of non-Tekken gamers have seen the newest iteration in the long-running fighting game series and have written it off as just as a stale addition to the aging franchise. I, however, have come to the point of begging the differ. As you’ll see in the following trailer the game has improved so-much-so as to at least offer an extremely well-rounded arcade experience.

The new campaign (alternatively known as Force Mode way back in Tekken 3) takes the concept to the next level, allowing players to tag-team in two-player mode and use unlocked accessories as well. New weapons are also available in the normal and campaign modes and all the new clothing and fighting options can be utilized in the campaign mode as well.

The game may look stale to some fighting game aficionados, but there’s enough new content that’s been on display to at least pique the interest for gamers willing to give the series a try.
