Given the intense marketing blitz and excitement for The Beatles: Rock Band, it seems almost unnecessary to remind you that it's in stores. But yeah, it is.
The Beatles: Rock Band is a PS3/360/Wii standalone music game that features 45 songs from throughout The Beatles' career. You'll be able to play the songs in famous venues from throughout the Beatles' career, such as Shea Stadium and the Ed Sullivan theater. To give the game an authentic Beatles' feel, Beatles: Rock Band introduces three-part vocal harmonies.
Three additional albums will be released as downloadable content in the coming months. The first DLC album, Abbey Road, will be available on October 20th. The song "All You Need Is Love," a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360 version, is currently available through Xbox Live for $1.99.
The game is compatible with existing Guitar Hero and Rock Band peripherals and can be purchased by itself for $59.99. Alternately, you can spring for the $250 Limited Edition Premium Bundle that includes instrument peripherals modeled after those used by the band. The Rickenbacker 325 guitar and Gretsch Duo Jet guitar peripherals are also sold separately for $99.99.
