Do you think you could write a kick-butt love song that’ll make the girls’ hearts melt and the guys’ shed a few tears? Well, here’s your chance to show the gaming world what you’ve got in a brand new promotional campaign by GameStop. The company recently announced that The Beatles: Rock Band ‘Share The Love’ contest is in full swing and all you have to do is come up with a groovy song to win some cool prizes.

According to the press release…

The Beatles wrote some of the most iconic love songs in the history of music. To pay homage to their great writing ability, aspiring writers can pen songs of 100 words or less that use titles from at least 10 songs of The Beatles as part of their submitted entry. Entries will be accepted through Nov. 16, 2009.

Seems easy right? Well, I’m sure gamers and song-writers will be scrambling around like crazy to come up with a snazzy love song to win a free trip to Las Vegas. Yep, the prize includes a full-paid trip to Las Vegas and a chance to hang out in The Mirage casino and hotel.
