Believe it or not, we're already halfway through 2009. The NPD Group has been tracking sales for each month and today they revealed the best-selling console games from January to June 2009.

The top five lists for each console, provided to Gamasutra, are only estimates and are skewed slightly because they don't include sales of limited and collector's editions:

Good year to be Capcom. SF IV and RE5 really cleaned up this Spring. Makes you wonder why so many companies insist on releasing their high-profile games in October/November.
