The Calling Japanese Gameplay TrailerAuthor: William Usher

Hudson Entertainment released a new trailer for the upcoming game based loosely on The Grudge called, The Calling. If you can’t guess why it’s called The Calling it has a little something to do with using the Wii-mote as a cell phone and getting creepy calls from ghosts.
With the recent gameplay overview trailer gamers receive a first-hand look at how the horror-adventure game is played. For the most part it consists of walking around in creepy looking environments, devoid of people or life, and using a flashlight to snoop around for clues and other objects. Given that the video is in Japanese it’s a little tough to distinguish certain functions of the gameplay. It’s easy to mistake the one segment where the cell phone is passed underneath a toilet stall for having to actually slide the Wii-mote across a toilet or something. But it’s not actually necessary to slide the Wii-mote across a toilet unless you really, really want to do so. I wouldn’t advise it, though. You can check out the new trailer for the game below or visit the Official Hudson Entertainment Website for more information on The Calling.
