The Grinder Hype Season Begins Fresh off the release of The Conduit, High Voltage Software is wasting no time in getting the name of their next title out there and being seen. The Grinder, which is said to be a Wii version of Left 4 Dead, is now being promoted.

The Wii-exclusive is a first-person shooter modeled after The Conduit in that regard, and will feature a plethora of enemies on screen at once, and not just zombies. Werewolves, Vampires, and other creepy beasts will also become acquainted with your shotgun.

High Voltage has hinted that the game will feature up to 65 enemies on screen at once, which will be a huge stretch to the limits of what the Wii can do. The developer has hinted at Wii Motion Plus being used in the game, which would only be logical. Online co-op will also be supported as was shown at this year's E3 Expo.

It's a foregone conclusion that this game will be hyped beyond belief. If you thought the viral marketing for The Conduit was bad, you haven't seen anything yet.
