Pandemic Studios confirmed this afternoon that they've completed development on their World War II sandbox action game The Saboteur. It will arrive as expected on December 8th in North America and on December 4th in Europe.

"This has been a very difficult week for Pandemic Studios, but does not change the fact that a team of amazing people worked very hard to make The Saboteur a great game that fans will be able to enjoy this holiday season," reads an announcement on the official Saboteur website.

EA revealed on Tuesday that they were shutting down Pandemic's Los Angeles studio, a move that left about 200 people jobless. However, they also pledged that the "Pandemic brand and franchises" will live on.
