The game was originally announced at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, as a movie-to-game adaptation of the feature film starring Chris Hemsworth. The game is being published by Sega and Marvel Studios and is aimed for a summer 2011 release…which is hopefully enough time for them to ensure that it doesn’t turn out like the turd that was Iron Man: The Video Game.

The new debut teaser trailer for Thor: The Video Game is just that, a brief, finger-twitching teaser. We get to see the red-caped Asgardian standing atop a planet-sized cliff overlooking Asgard after briefly being introduced to Mjöllnir…Thor’s hammer.
