Fans of the long-running Tiger Woods franchise can rejoice in glorious bliss today, as the oddly-titled Tiger Woods: PGA Tour 10 is being released to the golf-hungry masses today. The game, which is actually the 12th entry in the series, and has a number of changes to the tried-and-true formula; It features the USGA's Rules of Golf for the first time in the series' history, among other things.

Of course, the game looks GORGEOUS this year, even improving upon last year's outing. The Wii version of the game uses Wii Motion Plus, which I'd really like to give a shot at. I doubt that it would be enough to pull me away from the shiny goodness of the 360 and PS3 versions, but it at least seems intriguing enough to be worth a try.

From the looks of things, this might be the year to buy if you're like me and haven't invested in the series in a while. I was a huge fan of '05 (or was it '06?) and I think I'll be trying to score the Cinemablend review assignment for this one. Below is a quick trailer of the game that you can check out for yourself.
