Brutal Legend designer Tim Schafer appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Friday to discuss the upcoming heavy metal action game. He and Jimmy also managed to talk about Hell and Columbia House while they were at it.

It's very weird seeing a game designer interviewed on a late night talk show (right after Drew Barrymore, no less). I suppose it's a sign of how games have become mainstream and all that but the interview really came about because Fallon's devoted to covering gaming news on his show. You may remember that he had Microsoft's Kudo Tsunosa on his show a few months back to promote Project Natal.

Brutal Legend arrives on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 13th.
