Free Radical Design has just released three pieces of concept art for their upcoming shooter TimeSplitters 4. Concept art is usually the least exciting type of preview material but these shots are exceptionally bizarre.
The pictures show a monkey Frankenstein, a nun with a chainsaw, and a cat with wheels. It feels like these should be hanging in a post-modern art gallery. Not really sure how the tiny wheeled kitty is going to be integrated into the game if at all but Frankenchimp and the chainsaw nun are probably going to be playable characters.
Still no word on what platforms TimeSplitters 4 will be released on or when we can expect to see it. However, at least we now know whether or not there will be a chainsaw-wielding clergy member in the game - the question gnawed at me, I'll admit.
