So what do you do when you’ve just played through a mediocre tennis game? You look forward to playing the next Top Spin of course. I’ve admitted in the past to not be a fan of sports games in general, but give me an NHL or Tennis title and I’m a happy gamer. Anything else needs to be arcadey in style (i.e. Mario Kart or NBA Jam).
Now at the third iteration I’m sure we’re familiar with what will happen when we put Top Spin 3 into our gaming system of choice. My hope is that it’ll load up and I’ll get to play a tennis game, perhaps you are expecting the game to give you free DumDums for life. Either one is a fine thing to aspire to, especially if there’s an inordinate amount of tasty root beer flavored DumDums on the way.
Oh yeah, video games. So below is the debut trailer for Top Spin 3, and it looks unremarkable in general. Not because the game looks boring or unremarkable, but because it’s just a montage of tennis gameplay. Everything looks to be where it should. Game. Set. Match.
