Due out this week for major gaming consoles, Activision has made the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen official game launch trailer available to the public. But we thought we would sweeten the deal with some awesome looking screen-captures to accompany the brand new trailer.

I can’t put into words how awesome the trailer is or how cool the game is starting to look. As always, though, the fact that it’s a movie-based game instantly puts a measure of reserve in my thoughts and the constant image of review scores averaging about ‘6’.

Anyway, the screen-captures break down a lot of the splendidly directed action present in a launch trailer that deserves a spot in the list of potential trailers that could be the coolest of 2009.
