It seems that Tropico 3 will not be a PC exclusive after all. Publisher Kalypso Media announced today that the game will be released for the Xbox 360 as well.

This will make Tropico 3 the first game in the series to be released for consoles. It's also the first foray into consoles for Kalypso. Both the PC and 360 versions will be developed by Bulgarian studio Haemimont Games.

Tropico 3 allows players to create their own virtual dictator and run a tropical island. It will arrive on the PC and Xbox 360 in September.
