Tropico 3 Teaser Trailer: Welcome To Tropico

The third installment in the island management sim series Tropico has just received its first trailer. The video is an airplane tour of a lush, tropical island just begging to be turned into a brutal dictatorship by you.

Though this is probably a cutscene from the game, it's not a far cry from the screenshots we've seen so far. The previous two games in the series used an isometric perspective whereas Tropico 3 is full 3D. It's been six years since the last installment so a big leap in visuals is pretty much a foregone conclusion.

Tropico 3, according to the game's website, is due this summer. It'll probably be on the tail end of the summer, considering how little we've seen of the game thus far.
