Getting Turok for the Xbox 360 just keeps sounding like a better idea every day. The game that looks as though its enormous worlds and complex characters would be served better on the PS3 hardware’s graphical capability is starting to get blown away by gameplay for the 360. First it was the announcement that you’d be getting gamer points on XBL for team kills. Now it’s the free demo disc you’ll receive after pre-ordering it on the Xbox 306.

Best Buy, Game Stop, Walmart.com and Game Crazy are now giving a free demo disc of the forthcoming multi-platform game, but only for the 360 pre-orders. The disc will have thirty minutes of gameplay and an exclusive “premium item.” It is entirely possible that this demo will be up on Xbox Live within the next month, but at the moment there is no word on if that will happen. However, if you wait until then you won’t get the “premium item” whatever it may be.

So here’s the opportunity to get your hands on this game early. It’s entirely possible that this early demo will fairly portray the game that is going to be released on February 5, 2008. Even though this one looks amazing, this option would have been very nice to have had for all of the previous Turok games so I could save my money.
