What an amazing display of visual prowess. I can’t praise THQ and Yukes enough for having an engaging graphical display featured in the upcoming UFC 2009. The following fight trailer shows off a lot of the technical aspects of the UFC, including the grappling and the counter-striking mechanics.

Every new trailer for this game kicks butt with increasing showmanship. It’s kind of tough to tell what parts are just put together for cinematic purposes and what parts are legitimate shots of the gameplay. I would be uberly impressed if THQ confirmed that none of the footage was optimized for press purposes.
