The NPD Group released the April 12th-April 18th US retail sales figures for PC games today and Gas Powered Games' Demigod made a big splash in its first week. It's no World of Warcraft or Sims 2, though. Here are the top ten for the week:
World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (Blizzard)
The Sims 2 Double Deluxe (EA Maxis)
Demigod (Gas Powered Games)
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor (Relic)
Empire: Total War (Creative Assembly)
Left 4 Dead (Valve)
World Of Warcraft Battle Chest (Blizzard)
World Of Warcraft (Blizzard)
The Sims 2 Apartment Life Exp. Pack (EA Maxis)
Spore (EA Maxis)
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor is holding strong in its second week in stores. It debuted at #3 last week. Other than that, the list is pretty ho-hum. Maxis and Blizzard continue to soak up retail sales and Empire: Total War is hanging tough.
